Planning for Sign Code Success

The Sign Research Foundation and the International Sign Association are partnering with the NSSA Northeast Sign Expo 2017 to present a Planning for Sign Code Success seminar. This half-day event is where planners and code officials can learn the latest regulatory issues and best practices related to on-premises signage. The modules offered will detail the impacts of Reed v. Gilbert on municipal sign regulations; how sign construction and design is affected by building and electric codes, as well as energy efficiency and lighting science concerns; the technology in electronic message centers and ways to control use; and the legal and policy concerns involved in municipal sign ordinances.

This event has been submitted for 2.5 CM (0.75 Law)credits and will be held at the Connecticut Convention Center (100 Columbus Boulevard; Hartford, CT 06103) from 8:00-11:00a.m. on Friday, September 29th.
