The Program/PDO Committee consists of the Program Committee co-chair, the Professional Development Officer (PDO) co-chair, and at least five other Chapter members. The Committee’s main responsibility is to provide continuing education services and to promote ethical planning practices among Chapter members. The Committee is responsible for soliciting and selecting topics for programs each calendar year.

The Committee establishes an annual schedule of programs and provides logistical support for programmed activities. Under the guidance of the PDO, assistance with exam preparation for the AICP exam for members who are interested in obtaining the certification is provided, as well as Certification Maintenance support and credit approval for programs for all Certified Planners. Volunteers are always welcome on the Program Committee, and all members are encouraged to submit program ideas to either co-chair.
